Located along Virginia’s Blue Ridge Parkway, this residence underwent a strategic renovation. Due to exposure to extreme elements, this mountaintop home required careful enhancements to its structure and envelope. New glazing and an elevated deck create opportunities to take in the expansive views of the Blue Ridge mountains and valleys. Interior surfaces of walnut and steel are composed beautifully and  joined with attention to detail.
