EXCEPTIONAL STEEL WORK AND WARM WOOD SURFACES

This restaurant and lounge filled a formerly industrial space of the Glass Building in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia.  On a daily basis, the space could transition seamlessly from a sophisticated dining space to a vibrant night spot. The sculptural stair and bar came to life after continuous collaboration with a master steel fabricator, and careful detailing.  The contrast between precise steel assemblies and warm mahogany surfaces enriches the space.
